Premium is necessary for any degree of automation, and non-paying users develop their villages at a much slower rate than Premium users. Pillage your opponents’ food and resources to increase your own supply. Analyze your enemies and scour for weaknesses in their castles before you attack them. Will you reside by the water, in the mountains, or in the grassland? The fate of your settlement is in your hands! Strategically build huge castles and structures to protect yourself against enemy factions. Researching Confirmation increases the time of inquisition given by each monk.Choosing the location of your fort in Stronghold Kingdoms is crucial to the success of your settlement.

Then select the number of monks you want to send, click the monk ability (explained below) that you wish to use, and click the “go” button. To use a monk, click on the target village, then click the blue button with a white monk on it (it’s on the right of your screen). The second way of gaining a village is to attack another village with a captain, a slightly cheaper way but can be more expensive. Then click one of the buttons under the figure on the far left. If you have all of these things, click on the village tab, then the sub-tab with a person riding a horse (under the sword tab). To create monks, you have to research Arts 2, Theology 5, and Ordination 1, have at least 150 gold in your treasury, have at least 25 unit space, and have at least 1 idle peasant. They can even keep other people from sending monks from their villages. They can increase popularity in a parish as well as decrease the popularity. They can influence elections as well and prevent villages from being attacked. Monks are an integral part of Stronghold Kingdoms.
